Lamp in mounting module

The lamp modules have one indisputable advantage over bare bulbs, namely their easy installation. Simply anyone who can handle a screwdriver is able to install the replacement bulb module in the projector. You can buy up to 4 different lamp module alternatives.

Lamp with module
Original lamp module

Original lamp module, directly from the projector manufacturer. This variant is often chosen by demanding customers who require the highest projection quality and utmost reliability. The original lamp module directly from the projector manufacturer is the most expensive alternative.

Diamond lamp module

Diamond lamps contain original bulbs, mostly Philips or Osram, fitted into the mounting modules from Diamond Lamps. This lamp alternative is an adequate replacement for the original lamp from the projector manufacturer, because it ensures high quality projection and is extremely reliable.

Generic lamp module

Generic lamps combine a bulb from one of the following OEM producers (Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Matsushita, Iwasaki) with a non-original mounting cage from an alternative producer. This option offers quality projection and reliability comparable with the original lamp module, but at a much more favourable price.

Compatible lamp module

Compatible lamp including the lamp module from an authorised producer. This alternative is recommended for those, who want maximum savings and also insist on simple installation of the replacement lamp. Compatible lamps may have a shorter lifespan and lower luminosity in comparison with the original lamp.

Bare bulbs without the mounting module

Bare bulbs are most attractive due to their price. This is because they are cheaper by 40 % to 60 %compared to the original lamp modules. We recommend bare bulbs without the mounting cage for manually skilled customers. This is because the bulb can easily be broken during improper installation.

Bare lamp
Original bare bulb

Original bare bulbs from one of the OEM bulb producers (Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Matsushita, Iwasaki). This alternative ensures high projection quality as well as high reliability. However, the installation is more complicated compared to the lamp with a module. Only manually skilled individuals will manage to replace the bulb in the projector.

Compatible bare bulb

Compatible bare bulbs are the cheapest replacement projector lamps. This alternative may have a shorter lifespan and lower luminosity in comparison to the original lamps. Therefore, we recommend these lamps especially for home usage with lower demands on projection quality. Compatible bulbs without modules are only recommended for manually skilled customers.
